Hi - I thought I would detail all of the brand-spanking new features that CM08 now has compared to CM07, enjoy!:
Game Features & Interface Changes New 3D titlebar layout Fresh colour scheme to give a modern look and feel, the league table is a good example of the new colours all selection bars have been changed to have a red outline and blue centre to give a more solid feel. Graphical background image instead of the plain background colour from before Shortcut menu - this is brought up and minimised by pressing the '#' key (this is shown on the title bar when available). new 3D feel menu system. This is based around a football and menu options wrapped around it. The scrolling of this menu has also changed in that the middle option will always be the default option selected. Team Info -> Fixtures - there is now a link from the right soft key that will take the user directly to their next opponents tactics. New start screen player profile screen - player attribute values will now be green red or black to show if going up, down or staying the same 2D match overlay screens - these are at the initial stages but will show the type of thing we have in mind to show areas on the pitch where your team is doing well etc. Transfer History - A general Transfer ins/outs that will track up to 100 transfers that have been made in the game for all teams TransferMenu->Transfer Ins/outs Board Request - this allows the player to make 6 different requests to their board, found in team info->Board Request Fitness view - have added a fourth view in the squad screen so now you can see an overview of player fitness, wages & morale Have added new styles of plays and changed the gamesmanship and aggression screens A 'Form' bar chart has been added to the player profile Created confirm screens for all player actions telling them what will happen. Have added searching by player name Have added a worldwide search option Improved name & text entry, once a key has been pressed, it will jump to the next space the same way that a mobile phone does Attribute values also highlighted green/red in squad view as well now for overview of training performance The Manager attributes screen now has information regarding on how to gain them etc, also news items are triggered at the start of the game to tell you how they are gained Player profiles can now be accessed from every news screen Wage budget has been added Penalties and extra time goals now displayed in match events. Game Engine Tweaks and Feature Changes Training more likely to increase players ratings Date Function changed Match overlay Each area on the pitch where a player is playing is colour coded to give an indication of performance. The performance is a combination of individual player ratings and the tactical and style aspects of the teams set up. Changes in all tactical aspects will be reflected in the overlay. Red areas need attentionGeneral Gameplay Adjustments Transfers more realistic Match events adjusted to fit in more accurately with Premiership stats (goals, red, yellow cards per season etc) Game difficulty increased for some teams Manager ratings (players, fans, board, media) increased in accuracy and more difficult to increase quickly |

| With the imminent release of CM2010 around the corner, Olly Rogers has taken some of his spare time and put a lot of hard work into making an update, for CM03/04, probably the best made game so far in the championship manager series!iphone 3gs accessories | |
